Listening to the Energy of Connection
Sometimes, a person enters your life in a way that leaves a mark not just on your memory, but on your body and soul. You may know them only through their work—a painting, a song, a creation—and yet, when you meet, there is a recognition that goes deeper than words.
That happened to me about a year ago, though I only truly understood it recently, after a bio‑energy fasting camp where I learned to quiet my mind and listen to my body. Last December, my body was already responding, showing me something I wasn’t ready to trust. I dismissed it—until recently, when I came across an image of his eyes layered with the memory of the man I had breakfast with, and it clicked. Energetically, I didn’t need to see his eyes; his work radiates heart energy, and that is what drew me in long before we met.
I had been reaching out to him since 2013, and since 2024, he started to respond. I began inviting him to meet me where I went, and he started to show up. I noticed how strongly his presence lingered in my awareness. His art also began to speak directly to me, and I had been dismissing my body’s recognition of this energy for over a year and a half. Meeting kindred spirits helped me see the truth: when the mind quiets, the body already knows.
Last night, I had a dream. I was in the passenger seat while he drove. There were others in the back. He stopped at house number 40, got out first, and said, “You do what you need to do. I will wait for you.” I didn’t see his face clearly, but I realized I was meant to understand him fully only later, after he left.
The message of the dream is clear:
Stay in your body and heart. Observe your energy, but do not chase.
Let reality reveal itself through grounded, human actions—not through signs, projections, or interpretation.
The heart’s activation is real, but it belongs to you, not to another person.
Trust clarity over emotion. If it is meant to be, truth will arrive calmly and tangibly.
My body responds to something deeply meaningful—the recognition, the imprint, the energy of connection. My heart lights up, but this is about my energy, not proof of a bond.
So I breathe. I stay present. I keep my feet on the ground. I allow my heart to feel without chasing or forcing. I wait for reality to show itself clearly—through direct, grounded action.
And this, I realize, is what my soul is asking of me: presence, clarity, and the courage to honor my own energy above all else.
