A Peaceful Encounter & A Realisation

Today, I had a meeting with a Catholic Church exorcist, and it went better than I ever expected. I came with a lot of emotions, questions, and a deep need for clarity, and I opened up completely—almost like a confession—sharing everything from my heart.
At one point, I felt overwhelmed and began to cry, but it felt like a release, not fear. He listened carefully and gently reassured me that I am not possessed, which immediately brought me a deep sense of peace.
Even so, he chose to pray over me, and it was a calm, protective, deeply spiritual moment that felt more like a blessing than anything else.
He also blessed all of my rosaries, each one carrying its own journey—from Bethlehem, from Paris, and from Wrocław—and now they feel even more meaningful, as if infused with grace.
At the end, he invited me to join a community called “Renewal in the Holy Spirit,” a path of faith, connection, and openness that resonates deeply with where I am right now. I left feeling lighter, calmer, reassured—held, not afraid.
What I’ve come to realise through this is something I never expected. For a long time, I thought things like demons, God, and spiritual reality were just stories—like Santa Claus—something you hear as a child, something symbolic, not something real. But now, after everything I’ve experienced, something in me has shifted, and I see it differently.
If darkness can exist, then light must exist too; if there is something we call demonic, then there must also be something divine—something greater, stronger, and full of love. And what I felt today was not darkness, but peace, not fear, but presence.
So this realisation is not about fear—it is about awakening. Not everything is just a story; some things are deeper, some things are real in ways we don’t understand as children. And maybe the difference is this: Santa Claus is a story we grow out of, but faith is something we grow into.
I feel deeply blessed and truly grateful for the way God is guiding me back to Jesus—back home. Thank You, God, for Your guidance, Your protection, and for leading me back into Your light.
