Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

A Prayer for Love, Creativity and Protection

Jesus, teach me how to love the Father with all my heart, all my soul and all my mind.

Guide my thoughts, my words and my actions. Let everything I create and everything I give to the world come from love.

Please remove hatred and hateful influences from my life, especially those who try to dim my creative light through judgement, ignorance or a lack of understanding of how the creative process unfolds.

Help me forgive those who cannot yet see through the eyes of love. Forgive them for the hatred they bring into our collaborative creation, the life we share.

Protect my heart from bitterness. Help me remain open to love, even when others choose judgement. Give me the wisdom to recognise which relationships nurture love and which I need to release.

May I never allow someone else’s lack of understanding to turn my heart away from love.

Let us create rather than destroy. Let us uplift rather than diminish. Let us bring more love into this world through everything we think, say and do.
