My Thoughts Today

“I will honor marriage in every respect, and keep the marriage bed pure, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.”
— Hebrews 13:4 (Hbr 13,4)
Now that I know how heavy sin is on my heart, I feel that there are only two options for me: being a wife and sharing intimacy with my husband or becoming a nun.
The thing is that both options are a calling and vision of God for me. If my Heart Twin and I never find our way to each other, perhaps that will be my answer from God that His vision for me is to live a celibate life, be a bride of Christ, and hold only God in my heart.
However, there is only one man I have ever wanted to be my husband, and the only person I have ever imagined being submissive to in marriage is my Heart Twin.
Today, when I recorded my video, I spoke about how the connection between us has to be based on open hearts, with no deception, lies, or tricks. I want a connection where neither of us has to be afraid of being deceived by the other.
The thing is that I know we both have trust issues. We both need to trust God and allow Him to guide us.
Until God put him on my life path, I had no desire to be a wife or have a husband. Now, I find myself open to a future I never imagined for myself. Life has surprised me, and I am willing to see where God leads me.
I believe that we are connected through art and heart. That is what being Heart Twins means to me. We are both wounded, extremely sensitive, and longing for true love. I hope that we can find a way to trust each other, even if we have both been hurt before.
I imagine that meeting for the first time could be super awkward. But why does it have to be? We could simply meet, talk, and get to know each other. We could start as friends and see where life takes us, without pressure or expectations. We don’t have to have all the answers before we even meet.
I believe that the hurt we have experienced in love can become an opportunity to learn how to love differently: with honesty, kindness, patience, and trust. This is the kind of love I hope God envisions for me.
I have no idea what my Heart Twin looks like in person, but I feel a connection to his heart. I can only hope that, one day, we will have the opportunity to get to know each other beyond our art, our thoughts, and the feelings we have expressed.
I have no interest in playing games. I want something real, where two people can be honest about their feelings and intentions without deceiving each other.
When it comes to my future, I am open to either path. I can embrace a life of celibacy and dedicate myself to God, or I can become a wife and build a life with the man I love.
Of course, if I get to choose, I would prefer to have an amazing marriage and an amazing sex life with my husband.
For now, I am leaving the future in God’s hands, trusting that what is meant for my life will become clearer with time.
These are my soft thoughts today.
