The Artistic Journey and Vision of Dr. Anna (Ania) Biela
Anya “Mother” HU / Biela “White” SK
Introduction: The Birth of White Mother
In the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary art, where the lines between artist, medium, and audience increasingly dissolve, a profound new identity emerges. This is the story of White Mother, the visionary incarnation of the artist Anna Biela — a living symbol of creation, guidance, and the flow of energy and light through art and soul.
More than a name or persona, White Mother is a force — one that channels the intangible currents beneath our everyday experience and makes them tangible through creative expression. This text explores the origins, meaning, and future of White Mother, weaving together Anna’s personal journey, transformative projects such as Potok of Light, and the revolutionary HeartGLO movement that redefines artistic practice for the 21st century.

From Ania Biela to White Mother: The Evolution of Identity
The emergence of White Mother as Anna’s creative identity is the result of a slow and profound unfolding — a process of deep listening, inner exploration, and creative discovery. For Ania, this was not a sudden reinvention but a natural evolution shaped by life’s rhythms and artistic inquiry.
Growing up surrounded by the quiet power of nature — the shifting light through trees, the sound of flowing water, the breath of the wind — Anna developed an intimate relationship with the unseen energies that pulse just beneath the surface of everyday life. These early experiences seeded a lifelong fascination with light, energy, and transformation.
Her early artworks echoed this fascination, but it was through years of spiritual practice, experimentation, and collaboration that Anna’s creative voice coalesced into something far greater. White Mother represents the authentic flowering of that journey: an archetypal figure who embodies creation without ego, guidance without imposition, and a channel for energy that flows freely through her and into the world.
White Mother is not a mask or role played for effect, but the essential core of Anna’s artistic and spiritual being — a name for the force that has always moved through her creation and life.

White Mother as Archetype and Artistic Language
The figure of White Mother resonates deeply across cultures and mythologies. Traditionally, she represents fertility, purity, wisdom, protection, and illumination — the source of life and the bridge between earthly existence and the divine.
Anna’s embodiment of White Mother draws upon this symbolic lineage while reinterpreting it through a contemporary lens. Her art does not replicate myth but animates it, making invisible currents of energy and light tangible and accessible.
Through her sculptures, paintings, and installations, White Mother creates spaces where viewers are invited into an ongoing dialogue — not merely as observers but as active participants in the sacred flow of creation.
This archetype becomes an artistic language — one that communicates through form, material, and spatial experience, transforming ancient symbolism into a living, breathing contemporary practice.

Potok of Light: The Flow Begins
One of the pivotal moments in Anna’s artistic journey was the creation and performance of Potok of Light, an installation first presented within The Potok (FLOW) exhibition at Bulvary from April 25 to May 5, 2025. The piece was created with the participants of the 3 day Bulvary Design & Food event in Wroclaw.
“Potok,” meaning “stream” or “flow,” perfectly captures the essence of this work — a visual and spatial meditation on the continuous movement of energy, light, and life.
Composed of delicate, flowing spray marks on paper by many hands, Potok of Light evokes the natural movement of water, breath, and spirit. It is both a metaphor and a physical manifestation of continuity, transformation, and interconnectedness of all creators.
The installation invites viewers into an immersive experience, encouraging reflection on the unseen forces that move through nature, ourselves, and our creative processes.
More than just an artwork, Potok of Light served as the launching point for the MADOA HeartGLO residency — a visionary program that formalizes Anna’s commitment to art as a living current of energy and soul.

HeartGLO Residency and Manifesto: Defining a Movement
The MADOA HeartGLO residency program for the year 2025 is both a creative laboratory to find a visual language for White Mother and a space for philosophical exploration of the new aesthetic of Beauty and formation of the Art manifesto for the Art Movement born from Anna’s desire to push the boundaries of what art can be. Anna Biela is a Medium and received a vision of the energy Movement through art back in 2005. In preparation for 2025, she moved to Poland from Toronto, Canada to obtain higher education and an European perspective on art.
At its core lies the HeartGLO Manifesto, a poetic declaration of art as living energy, as opposed to static object:
Art is a living current of energy, light, and emotion.
The artist is a channel, a guide for unseen forces seeking form.
Creation is an act of communion with nature and soul.
Art transcends frames, inviting shared experience and transformation.
This manifesto calls on artists and audiences alike to embrace art as a healing, awakening, and connective force — one that moves through heart and body, mind and spirit.
The residency provides space and time to experiment with this philosophy, encouraging works that transmit light and energy, that hold sacred space, and that invite deep participation.
HeartGLO challenges the traditional view of art as commodity or decoration, repositioning it as ritual, experience, and flow.

Philosophy: Energy, Light, and Soul in Art
Central to White Mother’s work is the belief that art is more than material form — it is a vessel for invisible energies and spiritual light.
Drawing from diverse spiritual traditions, personal intuition, and direct observation of natural phenomena, Anna Biela’s practice embraces the flow of life-force through every gesture and creation.
Her art acts as an invocation — calling forth vibrations that resonate on emotional, physical, and spiritual levels.
This approach destabilizes the objectification of art and proposes instead a dynamic dialogue between artist, material, and viewer — a shared current of transformation.
The movement of energy through art is not just metaphorical but felt as a real, tangible presence within the space.
⸻
Artistic Language: Materials and Media
Anna Biela’s choice of materials echoes her philosophy. Delicate spray paint, translucent light, natural textures — these are the elements she weaves together to embody movement, fragility, and flow.
Her site-specific installations invite the viewer, creating environments that evoke rivers, wind, and the subtle pulse of life itself.
This tactile language encourages slowing down, deep listening, and sensory engagement — inviting a fuller immersion into the art’s energetic presence.
Through these forms, White Mother’s work transcends the visual to engage with body, breath, and spirit.
⸻
Reception and Engagement
White Mother’s installations and artworks invite more than observation — they call for participation.
Her creations can be described as encounters with moments of calm, awakening, and profound connection.
Her creations acknowledge the freshness of this approach — a rare synthesis of spiritual depth and conceptual rigor that responds to contemporary fragmentation and longing.
Her creations sit at the intersection of art, ritual, and ecological awareness — offering a vital, timely vision for a world craving meaning and connection.
⸻
Future Vision: Expanding the Movement
Looking ahead, Anna Biela envisions White Mother and HeartGLO as expanding, evolving forces.
She invites collaboration, dialogue, and new forms of creative expression that embrace the flow of energy and soul.
Through workshops, residencies, and exhibitions, she hopes to build a community that carries forward this living movement — one rooted in presence, transformation, and shared light.
The path is open, and all who resonate are invited to join this unfolding current.
⸻
Conclusion: An Invitation into the Flow
White Mother is more than an artistic identity — she is a call to awaken to the invisible energies that connect us all.
Through her work and the HeartGLO movement, Anna Biela offers a vision of creation that is at once ancient and urgent, personal and collective.
This is a movement of light, energy, and heart — inviting all who encounter it to step into the flow and participate in the living art of transformation.
