Pink Room

The TV Room in the Presidential Suite at Banksy’s Walled Off Hotel

Art critique by Dr. Anna Biela 05.01.2026 4:44am

Almost 4:44 in Bethlehem and it seems to be a time I wake up here to contemplate, actually been up since 3 or so but decided to make tea and have it in the TV room. This room is covered in tags and at first I thought it was tags of visitors, friends of Banksy, but then I noticed that they are all done by one hand and they are the names of different writers that Banksy knows or respects, like Henry. The longer I sit here sipping my tea, I am starting to feel the energetic imprint of Banksy. This room, I think, is my favourite in the Presidential Suite. It shows writing on the wall, which brings me back to my original plan that I came here with — to do calligraphy with my ink pens.

Now I am sitting here and staring at what appears to be like wallpaper at first glance and I placed the pink spray paints from the WOH storage room — they were used here, the beige and grey on the building — but I have not figured out yet where all the green paints were used at the hotel? There are so many of them so perhaps they have not been used yet or will never be used. I made good use of them on the wall 🤭

I am really thinking of staying longer, but I was also thinking of downgrading myself to the Budget Bunker, as it is a very interesting design and I love the raw look. It would also be like sleeping in a hostel, something I have never done before, in a room with six beds.

One more piece to go just in time for Christmas “the real one,” the Orthodox one … real in terms of energy and a part of me wants to stay for that and go back to the Church of the Nativity but at the same time the 21 Days to the Divine is almost complete, as I write this it is Day 20. One more piece left to do like I said just in time for Xmas, putting up ISSA on the wall today.

The Silver Heart

Bedroom in the Presidential Suite, Banksy, Walled Off Hotel – Personal Art Critique by Dr. Anna Biela 04.01.2026 11:11 pm

Walking to the bedroom of the Presidential Suite in the Walled Off Hotel is like entering a private, intimate stage. Behind layers of red curtains, each accented with gold detailing, the room opens into a world of deep, passionate red—red carpet, red bedspread, red pillows, and multiple layers of fabric that envelop the space. Gold detailing appears throughout the room: on the curtains, the frame of the mural, candle holders, and trims, radiating value, sacredness, and abundance. In pure energy terms, red resonates with the root chakra, grounding vitality, courage, and life force—the energetic foundation of passion, stability, and intimate presence.

Behind the bed is the Banksy mural, which is more than a flat image—it is a layered, almost 3D composition, like a window embedded into the wall. The silver hot air balloon floats against a grey background on the mural plane. Then, a gold frame sits in front, and barbed wire is attached to the frame, projecting shadows directly onto the balloon. Energetically, this layering creates a palpable tension: the silver heart could, at any moment, touch the barbed wire and be pierced, reflecting the fragility and vulnerability of real soul-level connection.

Silver represents clarity, intuition, and spiritual aspiration, while grey provides a neutral, reflective space for contemplation. Gold radiates value, sacredness, and protection, holding the balloon’s energy as something precious and rare. The barbed wire, casting its shadow across the balloon, signals boundaries, protection, and the inherent risk of intimacy.

I know the theatricality and luxury of this bedroom may be intentional or ironic, but this is how I experience it energetically. I have been through many relationships where soul-level connection was absent, where intimacy never reached the depth of aligned heart energy. That is why I recognize how rare and luxurious it is to find a connection at the soul level. The mural mirrors this truth: the silver balloon rises freely, yet it is guarded, framed in gold, and shadowed by barbed wire, beautiful, precious, and vulnerable all at once.

In this reading, the bedroom becomes a meditation on love as energy: the red of the room grounds and energizes, the gold detailing elevates and honors, the silver and grey of the mural inspire freedom and reflection, and the barbed wire reminds us that true soul-level connection is both protected and fragile. Real love is luxurious—not materially, but energetically, in the courage, presence, and alignment it demands.

This is why I experience this space as I do: a reflection of the rare, precious energy of soul-level connection, a reminder that true love deserves recognition, celebration, and reverence. This kind of connection—the energy of Soul-Level Heart Waves—is a luxury, and it is what makes love between two souls real, profound, and transformative.

Wild Cats on Chains

Wild Cats on Chains — Banksy, Presidential Suite, The Walled Off Hotel

Art critique by Dr Anna Biela 04.01.2025 9:33 am

At first glance, the wild cats appear relaxed—lounging on the couch, almost playful, almost domestic. They feel familiar, companionable, even inviting. For a moment, I experienced them as company. I imagined sitting with them, sharing coffee, resting in their presence.

And then I noticed the chains.

That moment changes everything.

What initially reads as comfort reveals itself as containment. These are not pets. These are wild beings—panthers, wild cats—creatures defined by instinct, autonomy, and freedom. The chains expose the truth beneath the calm: what is wild is not allowed to roam freely. What is sovereign must be restrained. What is untamed is feared.

Banksy’s brilliance here lies in subtlety. The cats are not fighting. They are not roaring. They are chilling. And that is precisely the point. The system no longer needs violence to control—it relies on normalization. Chains become invisible when comfort replaces resistance.

The fact that the cats appear almost like a family intensifies the critique. This is not individual captivity; it is inherited containment. Control passed down, taught, accepted. Wildness softened into something manageable. Safe. Owned.

But wildness never disappears.

These cats are watching. Waiting. Their power is intact, compressed rather than erased. The chains hold bodies, not essence.

This is where the art movement enters—not as decoration, but as disruption. Art exists to reveal the illusion of the chain. Because when it comes to the soul, containment is never absolute. The system depends on fear, but the soul does not recognize cages.

Break the chains.

Free the soul.

Create heart waves.

This is art not as object, but as activation.

And this is an invitation—to remember what in you was never meant to be owned.

PERIOD

When the Body Speaks: Heart Flow, the Wolf Moon, and Synchronicity

Usually, having a period is just part of the rhythm of life—something natural, almost ordinary. It rarely feels like a message. But tonight, in Bethlehem, under the radiant glow of the first full moon of 2026—the Wolf Moon—my period arrived one week early, and I cannot help but feel that this moment is extraordinary, a signal I need to share.

The synchronicity is mind-blowing. My body is speaking loudly, in alignment with the moon, the space I am in, and the work I am creating. This is not a coincidence. This is a bio-energy signal: a clearing, a release, a deep realignment of my energy

In bio-energy terms, my early period reflects an energetic purge. My sacral center, the hub of creativity, desire, and flow, is opening. My heart center, where vulnerability meets expression, is expanding. Old limitations, fears, and energetic blocks are being released physically, emotionally, and spiritually, making space for new energy to flow through me and my work.

The Wolf Moon intensifies this moment. The first full moon of the year is traditionally a time of illumination, revelation, and emotional clarity. It acts like a cosmic spotlight, showing what needs to be released, what needs to be seen, and what is ready to emerge. In this light, my early period feels like more than a cycle—it feels like my body, the moon, and the universe all signaling: it’s time to step fully into creation and visibility.

Being in Bethlehem, at the Separation Barrier, adds a profound layer. Here, walls have held energy for years—fear, division, limitations. As I work on the Heart Flow movement logo mural, my personal energy release is transferring into the space, transforming what was heavy into heart-centered flow, art, and connection. My body, my heart, my creativity, and the environment are all aligned, creating a powerful resonance that transcends ordinary experience.

This moment is a reminder that sometimes the body speaks louder than the mind. Usually, periods come and go quietly, unnoticed. But tonight, under this special full moon, it is a message, a marker, a ritual of release and renewal. It tells me: “You are ready. You are aligned. You are seen. Your creativity, your heart, your energy—all of it is ready to flow.”

I share this not because a period is normally significant, but because in this moment, the synchronicity is undeniable, and the lesson is universal: when we are aligned with our energy, when we honor the body as a vessel for bio-energy, when we create from the heart, everything aligns—the moon, the body, the space, and the soul.

Tonight, under the first full moon of 2026, I honor my body, my heart, and the birth of Heart Flow. This is not just a ml mural, not just a movement. It is a living, breathing expression of energy, visibility, and heart-centered creation.

Heart Flow is alive. My body knows. And the universe is listening.

Heart Flow

A Living Wish

There is a place where art is born long before it takes form. It does not belong to time, trends, or calendars. It lives in the heart, in its natural state of flow. Heart Flow is not a day. It is not an event. It is a quiet movement — one that happens whenever an artist listens inward before acting outward. This is a wish for life. And a wish for art.

May the hearts of artists across the world remember their shared origin. Different languages, cultures, mediums, and histories — yet one current moving through all of us. The same pulse. The same longing to translate what cannot be spoken. May artists create not to compete, but to connect. Not to impress, but to express. Not from urgency or fear, but from alignment with what is true inside.

May the heart be recognized again as the first studio, the first instrument, the first teacher. Before the brush touches the wall, before the hand shapes the clay, before the voice sings — the heart already knows. This is a wish that sensitivity be honored as intelligence. That intuition be trusted as knowledge. That slowness be valued as depth.

May the hearts of artists unite — not in sameness, but in resonance. Like waves that never collide, only strengthen each other through rhythm. Heart Flow is what happens when creation becomes an act of care. When beauty is allowed to move freely, without justification. When art remembers its oldest purpose: to restore balance, to carry meaning, to heal. This is not something that begins or ends. It is something we return to.

A living wish — that what is carried in the heart may always find its way into the world, gently, honestly, and in flow.

Heart Waves of Palestine

To the nation of Palestine —

I send you my deepest love and respect. Being here, I have met some of the happiest, most generous, and most alive people I know. The world often speaks of you only as victims, but that story is incomplete. You are winners. Your wealth is not counted in money or power, but in something far rarer: Heart Waves.

I have never encountered a nation so rich in humanity, humor, patience, and quiet strength. Now I understand why I am here. I am not here for you — you are here for me. You reminded me that normal people exist, that kindness is real, that dignity survives even under pressure, and that the heart can remain open no matter the circumstances.

May your days be filled with laughter, shared meals, strong families, creative spirit, and peace that grows from the inside out. May your hearts continue to teach the world what true wealth looks like. Thank you for receiving me, for teaching me, and for showing me the beauty of being human. 🤍

Pillow Fight

Art Critique

Banksy, Pillow Fight

Artist Room, Walled Off Hotel, Bethlehem

Painted directly onto the wall of the hotel room in which I am staying, Banksy’s Pillow Fight collapses the boundary between artwork and lived experience. This is not a mural encountered at a distance, but one that occupies the same intimate space as rest, vulnerability, and daily routine. The room becomes both a site of refuge and a site of confrontation, mirroring the paradox of life lived beside the wall.

The mural depicts two men locked in what appears to be a playful pillow fight. The choice of pillows — objects associated with sleep, comfort, and domestic safety — immediately subverts the visual language of conflict. In a place where violence is embedded in the architecture itself, softness becomes an act of resistance. The gesture is absurd, tender, and unsettling all at once.

The psychological tension of the work lies in the contrast between the two figures. The man wearing a keffiyeh meets the viewer with exposed eyes that radiate seriousness and emotional weight — a gaze shaped by endurance, anger, and memory. Opposite him, the second figure’s eyes are concealed while his face remains visible, almost relaxed, perhaps even smiling. This asymmetry destabilizes conventional assumptions about aggressor and victim, power and vulnerability. The conflict, Banksy suggests, is not as clear-cut as political narratives demand.

Importantly, these are not portrayed as enemies but as neighbours. Their physical proximity implies familiarity, even the possibility of friendship. Stripped of ideology, borders, and claims of ownership, they could be equals engaged in play rather than struggle. The wall that divides them — and the systems that sustain it — is not born from their relationship, but imposed upon it.

By placing this image inside a hotel room, Banksy implicates the viewer directly. Sleep, reflection, and looking out the window toward the real wall become inseparable from the artwork. One cannot escape the message by leaving the gallery; the work persists through the night. The mural asks not who is right or wrong, but what fear does to human connection — and who benefits from its continuation.

Ultimately, Pillow Fight reframes conflict as a tragic performance fueled by fear, hatred, and greed. It suggests that the true struggle is not over land, but over energy — the emotional and psychological forces that keep people divided. In this room, where art and life merge, the mural becomes a quiet proposition: that refusing to fight, choosing softness, and returning to the heart may be the most radical acts of all.

Yellow Tulips

Artist Anna Biela, Drawing Yellow Tulips with View of the Window, Books, and Wall Outside (Rainy Day)

Video — 34 min 14 sec, vertical

Artist Room by Banksy, Walled Off Hotel, Bethlehem — 29 December 2025

Shot on iPhone 16 Pro

Dr. Anna Biela

Curatorial text for the video

This video captures the unfolding of a slow, meditative drawing practice, revealing the delicate interplay between observation, improvisation, and time. Returning to the work begun the previous day, the artist discovered that the view could not be precisely replicated—light, perspective, and atmosphere shifted subtly, prompting an intuitive response and an attentive engagement with the present moment.

Through this process, time itself becomes generative, producing literal “heart waves” that emerge from the artist’s biofield. Every movement, gesture, and pause carries this living energy, creating currents that resonate through the drawing and into the viewer’s perception. Each line becomes a trace of the artist’s bio-energetic presence, translating internal rhythm, attention, and life force into visual form.

This work is distinct from reproducing preexisting images or photographs; it is a conscious dialogue with reality as it appears in the moment, and with the subtle energetic signature of the artist. Drawing here is both a meditative practice and a form of energetic transmission, where time, perception, and heart-generated bio-energy converge. The viewer is invited to witness not only the visual act of creation but also the literal waves of life force emanating from the artist, flowing through the drawing and across the span of time captured in the video.

Er… Sorry + Heart

Concept Sketch Statement:

In this concept sketch, Anna Biela plans to add the word HEART to the wall, directly responding to Banksy’s etched 👑 Er Sorry. Banksy’s letters — crown, “Er,” and “Sorry” — act as typographic gestures, the language of graffiti carrying acknowledgment, hesitation, and historical weight. Even the brief pause in Er conveys contraction and reflection, leaving an energetic imprint in the wall itself.

By adding HEART, Biela responds with energy in motion, tracing circulating heart waves across the surface. Naming this movement gives it form, marking the birth of the HEART movement — translating bio-energetic flow into visible, living rhythm.

Together, 👑 Er Sorry and HEART create a dialogue: one records pause and acknowledgment, the other expands into circulation and resonance. Typography becomes vibrational form, turning the wall into a field where contraction meets pulse, reflection becomes flow, and acknowledgment transforms into energy.

Curatorial Statement “heart”

Dr. Anna Biela – Artist Room by Banksy, Walled Off Hotel, Bethlehem

MADOA 154 & M4RY4M Art Residency

December 17, 2025 to January 6, 2026

Dr. Anna Biela’s ongoing project in the Artist Room by Banksy at the Walled Off Hotel, Bethlehem, in the West Bank, territories of Palestine under Israeli control, unfolds as a nuanced exploration of perception, site-specificity, and the flow of energy through art. Oscillating around the theme of The View Through the Window, Biela has developed a dialogue with the pre-existing landscape.

Her view of the separation barrier, famously described by Banksy as the “Worst View of the World,” becomes both subject and collaborator. She translates this landscape into a dynamic abstract mural in her signature cool blue-green palette, inspired by Banksy’s Rebel Angels. Executed in spray paint beneath Banksy’s iconic figures, the mural extends the conversation between viewer, environment, and artist, making the outside world a part of the interior creative experience.

The mural is visible through the window, and Biela plans to create additional pieces on the wall inspired by typography in the coming days of her residency, now on day twelve.

Biela chose the Artist Room by Banksy specifically for this project, recognizing the energetic imprint of Banksy’s art as a source of inspiration. She taps into the “heart waves” emanating from Banksy’s work, using this energetic spark as a catalyst for her own creative process. The room becomes a conduit, linking the artist’s energy, the site, and the flow of the surrounding city.

The mural in particular is a signature piece of Banksy at the Hotel and serves as a portal to his energetic imprint. The resonance of this work is so strong that on an energetic level, it feels as if Banksy himself is present in the room with her.

Most days, Biela sits in the Piano Bar at breakfast and sketches the items within her visual grasp. Objects she observes and renders include a lamp, a bottle with a top, a tea cup, the room key, and books, connecting the everyday with the creative act.

For the final three days of her residency, she will move to the Presidential Suite, transforming the 150 m² apartment into a drawing studio. There, using blind contour techniques, Chinese calligraphy ink, and brush, she will document the objects and the space itself, further expanding the residency’s immersive, site-specific inquiry.

Using an iPhone 16 Pro, Biela has documented the passage of time through a series of time-lapse recordings, capturing sunsets, sunrises, and the ethereal blue hour from the Artist Room by Banksy. These recordings, alongside carefully curated objects left by Banksy on the table, become integral elements in her practice, merging the found with the created, the observed with the imagined. The artist has also recorded interactions with visitors, including Issa, who serves coffee under Banksy’s angel motif, situating her work within the rhythms and life of the space itself.

This process-oriented approach is continuously shared through her Instagram account www.Instagram.com/anna__biela and her Anna Biela Flow Blog www.annabiela.com/flow, offering an open record of her daily creative practice and textual reflections.

Through this work, the Artist Room by Banksy becomes both a studio and a lens, as well as a place of meditation and contemplation—a space in which the city, the viewer, and the artist converge. This engagement aligns conceptually with Biela’s permanent site-specific installation The View Room in Wroclaw, Poland, furthering her exploration of perception as an immersive and living experience.

The MADOA 154 & M4RY4M Art Residency provides the temporal and spiritual context for Biela’s creation. Central to the residency is the emergence of a new art movement, Heart (“Art as Heart Waves”), which considers the waves generated by the heart chakra as a medium for artistic expression.

The timing of the residency coincides with the winter solstice and the birth of Jesus, linking the work to a symbolic spiritual rebirth and the illumination of light. Being in Bethlehem—the birthplace of Jesus—Biela experiences this period as her first Christmas alone, without her family, yet embraced by her new family at the Walled Off Hotel.

Biela’s practice is distinguished by its non-commercial approach. The Dr. Anna Biela Art Collection 2005–2025 has been entirely donated to the View Room at the Dr. Anna Biela Museum of Material Culture. This museum, designed and decorated by the artist, presents not only artworks but also items of everyday life, transforming ordinary objects into vessels of reflection, energy, and cultural memory.

The Artist Room by Banksy at the Walled Off Hotel continues this ethos: a living, breathing archive of creation that foregrounds process, presence, and the interconnection between heart, art, and environment.

Ana / Anna

The Name Behind the Mission

Synchronicity has a way of revealing truths not by force, but through simple, human moments. Today, while getting to know new friends and acquaintances at the Walled Off Hotel, I found myself learning their names. As we spoke, I noticed how Arabic names carry clear meanings — not just sounds, but stories, qualities, intentions.

Out of curiosity, and out of resonance, I decided to look up my own name in Arabic.

What I discovered stopped me in my tracks.

Ana (أنا) — the single “n”

Ana means: “I am.”

Not ego. Not identity.

Pure presence.

It is awareness speaking itself into existence. Being before becoming. Consciousness simply recognizing itself. This is not the loud “I” that wants to be seen — it is the quiet truth that already is.

This realization confirmed something I have always felt at the core of my work: my mission begins with presence. With showing up fully. With witnessing. With allowing energy to flow without force.

Anna / Hanna (حَنّة) — the double “n”

Then comes Anna — or Hanna in Arabic — where presence softens into grace. The meaning opens into compassion, divine favor, blessing. A strength that does not push, but holds. A generosity that moves without effort.

In Arabic tradition, Hanna is carried through the maternal lineage of Mary — a name connected to nurturing, faith, and sacred continuity. It is love in motion. Grace embodied.

The Moment of Recognition

Standing there, in conversation, learning the meanings behind the names of the people around me, I felt the synchronicity crystallize. My name was not just translated — it was revealed.

Ana — I am.

Anna — I bless

In that moment, everything aligned. It wasn’t a new identity; it was a confirmation. A quiet, undeniable “yes.” My name holds the exact energy that stands behind my mission: presence fused with compassion, awareness flowing into grace.

The Name as Mission

Nothing felt accidental. Not the place. Not the conversations. Not the timing. The synchronicity simply confirmed who I am and how I move through the world.

I exist (Ana), and I give (Anna).

I witness, and I nurture.

I hold space, and I let energy flow.

My name is not just spoken — it is lived. And today, through the simple act of learning names, it spoke back to me clearly: This is who you are. This is why you are here.

ISSA

ISSA / ISA — The Birth of the Heart Movement

Once again, synchronicity does what it does best: it arrives quietly, precisely, and rearranges meaning.

I am in Palestine, in Bethlehem—the place where Jesus was born. I am here working on a project called MADOA 154 (ISA) & M4RY4M (MARYAM) Art Residency, and already the names themselves are speaking before any image appears on the wall.

The first mural came into being almost without permission. In the process of painting it, I covered an old piece of signage on the wall. Only later did I realize that the name I painted over was ISSA.

ISSA.

In Arabic, Isa means Jesus.

It can be written with a single s or a double s—Isa / Issa—like a breath repeated, like a heartbeat. Suddenly, the location, the timing, and the gesture aligned. This is Bethlehem. This is the birthplace. And this work is about birth—not of a body, but of the HEART MOVEMENT.

The residency is named MADOA 154 & M4RY4M. Isa, the person, couldn’t physically make it here. But the strange truth is: he did make it. Because Isa is not only a man’s name. Isa is a frequency. Isa is heart waves in motion. Isa is the name carried by Jesus in this land.

The first piece gave birth to the second. The wall itself initiated the next work. Painting ISA now feels less like choosing a name and more like responding to something already alive.

At the same time, I am creating a piece for ISSA—the man who sells coffee under the Banksy angels. A daily, grounded presence beneath images of conflict and innocence. His name, again, anchors the work in reality. Heaven and street level touching.

So ISSA becomes a name that travels:

• a person

• a place

• a word

• a heart wave

Putting ISSA up on the wall now feels like a declaration, but also like a birth certificate. The heart movement is born here, where the heart has always been tested, broken, and reborn.

From this moment on, ISSA becomes my artist name.

I will start writing ISSA.

Not as ego.

Not as branding.

But as a pulse.

Heart waves.

Born in Bethlehem.

Again.

Arrival

The Day Love Took Form

I came here not knowing exactly what I was giving birth to — only that Heart Movement was ready to be born.

At first, the mural revealed itself as a vortex: energy spiraling, descending, reorganizing. A signal that something was opening, that the field was being prepared. Nothing fixed yet — just movement, potential, the gathering of force.

Then a whale’s tail surfaced. Not the whole body, just the tail — deep power rising from the unconscious. Ancient, oceanic energy making itself known without explanation. Strength that doesn’t announce itself, only moves.

Then came the dove. Breath. Peace. Release. The moment the system feels safe enough to open. The heart softening, the nervous system exhaling. A reminder that force alone is not enough — it must pass through gentleness.

Then I saw a tree trunk — vertical, rooted, alive. Energy settling into form. Not floating anymore, not dispersing, but standing. Integrated. Held by the earth while reaching toward the sky.

And today, on Christmas, something deeper revealed itself.

I noticed women’s reproductive organs — not as something literal or provocative, but as origin. Creation. Portal. The place where flow becomes form. The place where life enters the world.

The synchronicity was unmistakable.

Today is the birth of Jesus — and beyond religion, this moment marks the birth of the heart. The heart chakra opening into the world. Love entering form. Consciousness choosing compassion.

And here I am, noticing the womb — the ancient intelligence that knows how birth happens.

It felt like confirmation.

Not that the mural changed, but that perception deepened. That what I came here to give birth to — a heart movement — found its mirror in form. The vortex prepared it. The whale carried its depth. The dove ensured safety. The tree grounded it. And the womb confirmed its arrival.

This is not about one image, one place, or one belief.

It is about energy remembering how to move through the heart.

Beauty as flow.

Art as living energy.

And Christmas not as a story from the past,

but as a present-moment birth —

happening now,

through the body,

through the heart,

through the field we are ready to perceive from.

Dear Banksy

I wanted to write to you personally to share how deeply I resonate with the way light appears in your site-specific work.

The Birth of Light is a theme I am also working with—both artistically and inwardly. This season carries a quiet power. In the Western Hemisphere, it marks the return of light after the winter solstice, when the nights begin to shorten and the days slowly lengthen again. It is the time associated with the birth of Jesus, but long before that, for thousands of years, humanity has honoured this moment as the rebirth of light itself.

The image of the children pointing toward the star stayed with me. For me, it speaks of origin and remembrance—that we come from the stars, that we are made of the same light we keep looking for. It felt like a reminder that we are not separate from what we seek, that we are here to carry and spread that light—now, here, in this place.

Working in the shadow of the wall, light becomes something earned rather than given. Your Angels exposes fractures not only in concrete, but in perception—where fear pretends to be solid, yet is already breaking. In that sense, light is not decoration; it is truth finding a way through.

Thank you for holding space where light can still appear.

With respect,

From the Angels to the Dove

The work began with Banksy’s Angels as my initial inspiration. I had no plan to paint the wall at all, yet once the pieces fell into place, the process unfolded effortlessly. My colors and materials arrived through synchronicity, as if guided by the energy of the space itself. The mural emerged intuitively, a dialogue between intention, chance, and resonance.

The first form to appear was the vortex, imagined initially as an energy ball—compressed, charged, and seeking release. It represents swirling, transformative energy—the stirring of what has been stagnant or blocked. This stage marks the activation of the system, a gathering of energy preparing for movement. It is chaos with direction, a necessary precursor to creation and realignment.

From the vortex, the whale’s tail emerged. Only the tail was visible, suggesting that most of the force remained beneath the surface. The whale symbolizes deep unconscious power, vast and rhythmic, ready to propel transformation. The tail indicates motion, momentum, and grounded strength—the first visible sign that deep energy is translating into force that can influence the external world.

Within the whale’s tail, I then noticed the white dove, a synchronicity echoing the Banksy dove mural I had previously seen in Bethlehem. The dove represents integration, peace, and clarity. It signals that energy has transformed from raw, hidden potential into heart-aligned flow, manifesting as gentle yet expressive movement.

The journey from Angels → Vortex → Whale’s Tail → Dove illustrates a full bio‑energetic transformation. Energy is first stirred and activated, then rises from the unconscious, gaining form, direction, and grounded momentum, before finally manifesting as clarity, peace, and heart-centered flow. This mural became a space where synchronicity, intuition, and energy converged. What began as inspiration from Banksy’s Angels evolved into a dialogue with the wall itself—a movement from activation through power into gentle, expressive presence: from the Angels to the Dove.

VORTEX

The Heart Movement 21.12.2025 21:12 Bethlehem, Palestina

A vortex descends from heaven like a lightning bolt—not to destroy, but to reorder. This energy arrives where fear has hardened into concrete. It arrives at the wall. The separation barrier is not whole; it is fractured. Its weakness is already visible. Banksy’s Angels reveal this truth.

With a crowbar and quiet intent, they expose the fault line—the place where concrete has separated, where fear has failed. Whether intentional or not, the mural declares something undeniable.

The wall is not perfect. What is built from fear cannot last. Fear is a low frequency. Love is a binding force. Fear separates. Love connects. The wall was erected in fear, not love. Fear can never compete with the frequency of love. This is where the Heart Movement begins.

The only truth in the world is love—the force that binds us beyond borders, beyond belief systems, beyond walls. Love is not passive. Love is an active, organizing intelligence.

Through intuitive art, an Art Movement emerged—not planned, not controlled, but manifested. What appeared was a vortex: a vertical channel between heaven and earth. The vortex pulls fear inward. It spins it. It transforms it. And it releases it as love.

Like a tornado, but not one of destruction—this is a bio-energetic force of purification. It uproots stagnation. It lifts density. It reorders reality at its core.

From the Artist Room by Banksy at the Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem—through the window where Banksy’s Angels are visible—the vortex pours through the crack in the wall. Energy flows downward, gathers into a living sphere, and expands outward with a rolling, snowball effect on the energetic plane.

This work was shaped by forces beyond my control. Old paint, applied with minimal pressure, barely flowed—just a few sprays, and the cups would clog. My focus was fractured by locals asking questions and offering help, which, in truth, drained my energy. Yet what appeared as chaos became alignment. The vortex did not arise from intention alone—it arose from surrender.

This is not decoration. This is not protest. This is energetic intervention.

Where fear built walls, love creates openings. Where concrete cracks, light enters. The vortex marks the beginning.

The wall will fall—first energetically, then physically. Because love always finds the weakest point. And opens it!

Birth of Light

The Longest Night and the Birth of Light

Tonight is the longest night of the year, the solstice that asks us to pause. Here in Bethlehem, in the quiet of Banksy’s room, the darkness feels like a deep, protective cocoon. My body insists on sleep and surrender, and I realize that this stillness is not laziness—it is preparation.

My dream lingers in my mind: searching for a car, feeling lost, only to discover that I was already where I needed to be. The message is clear: sometimes the path forward does not require movement, but trust. The pause itself is the guide.

Tomorrow, the light begins to return, and with it comes the birth of the Heart Movement I have been awakening to. I will paint directly on the wall, letting the energy of the solstice flow through my work, connecting the return of light with the pulse of the heart. The wall becomes a living map of this inner rhythm, a celebration of the pause that made the light possible.

This work is not only mine—it is a collaboration across time and energy. The imprint of Banksy’s energy already resides in this space, in the walls and in the room he designed at the Walled Off Hotel. My addition to the wall becomes part of that dialogue, a site-specific installation that will converse with his existing work, visible from the artist room where I am on my art residency. It is a meeting of energies, a bridge between past and present, between dark and light, stillness and creation.

Tonight itself becomes a ritual. Each hour of rest, each deep breath, is an offering to the energy I will channel. I invite the solstice light to enter my heart, to flow through me, and to carry into the wall with every movement of paint. My intention is to liberate and free all souls—those alive and those who have died—who are stuck, unable to return home to Oneness, particularly those connected to the Holy Land and Bethlehem. May the mural become a light that shows them the way back to heaven, so they may leave this place and follow the light home.

This is not just painting—it is the embodiment of the longest night giving way to the light, the stillness transforming into creation, and the Heart Movement taking its first visible shape in this sacred place.

The longest night reminds me—and perhaps all of us—that growth is born in stillness, and creation emerges most vividly when we honor the dark before the dawn. Tonight, I rest. Tomorrow, the heart moves.

ART BABY Concept

Birth of the “Art Baby,” aka the Heart Movement by Dr. Anna Biela 06.12.2025

Site-Specific Installation — Banksy Room, WOH, Bethlehem

This project began with an invitation I extended to Banksy — the belief that I needed a man to complete a woman’s task. But what I am truly bringing into the world is not a collaboration with a person. I am giving birth to an art baby, a heart baby. In the language of the soul, I am birthing heart waves I call the Heart Movement: a flow of perception, energy, and awakening

This birth has already happened energetically. Now it must manifest in matter.

I recognize now that I do not need Banksy the man, but the quality of his energy — the frequency of clarity, rebellion, tenderness, and subversive light that his work carries. Everything is energy, and from energy creation takes form. This installation is born from that principle.

The upcoming “MADOA 154 & M4RY4M” Bethlehem Art Residency — self-appointed and self-declared — is dedicated to giving birth to light. From December 17th to January 6th, I will inhabit the Banksy Room at the Walled Off Hotel. The room becomes a womb, a studio, and a threshold. It is a collaboration with the energetic imprint of Banksy and the symbolic charge of Bethlehem — the birthplace of light in collective consciousness.

My birthday — the 3-3-3 day of 2025 — occurred during my stay in Paris from 28.11 to 05.12. I used this time as a portal. In Bio Energy terms, I now embody the Holy Trinity — the father, the son, and the spirit — although I prefer to say the mother, the daughter, and spirita. The numbers of my birthday have always whispered this to me: the 111, the 999, the 333. I stepped into my light. I now stand, as my therapist says, like the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

The Winter Solstice, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are also temporal gateways. Together they frame this work, marking the transition from energetic conception to physical creation. I will be in Bethlehem to give birth to the Art Baby.

Within the room, my process will be intuitive and direct. I will use the space as an art studio, with deep respect for the surroundings, as I will be living within a work of art created by Banksy. Being immersed in his energy is the symbolic conception for creating the Heart Baby — spontaneous, intuitive ink-based works made with black ink on paper. I will draw, and each drawing will be a contraction, a pulse, a wave of the Heart Movement made visible.

This installation is the moment where energy becomes form, where the unseen becomes seen, and where a heart baby becomes matter. It is an offering of light, born in Bethlehem.
